Reflection: This artifact is a collection of conference attendance certificates I received while attending various conferences. This artifact meets Element 6.2 of Standard 6 because it shows my desire and motivation to broaden my professional network and enhance my professional growth and development. This artifact is important to my development as a physical education teacher because physical educators need to want to learn new and better ways to become a better teacher for their students whether it is through learning new units to include in their curriculum or learning new ways to teach existing units to their students more effectively.

Reflection: The EDU 256 - Seminar for Field Experience Field Experience Host Teacher Evaluation and EDU 355 - The Physical Education Curriculum: Planning and Practice Field Experience Host Teacher Final Evaluation were each used to evaluate my professionalism and ability to meet the NASPE/NCATE Beginning Teacher Standards. These artifacts meet Element 6.3 of Standard 6 because they show my ability to meet the standards required for beginning teachers and demonstrates my ability to act in a professional manner that are consistent with a highly qualified teacher. These artifacts are important to my development as a physical education teacher because physical educators need to meet and exceed the standards and level of professionalism expected of them to be an effective teacher and colleague.
